The challenge
Carboline, a leading U.S. manufacturer of coatings, linings, and fireproofing products, needed to provide basic AI training to its Sales team to help them start exploring how they could effectively apply it in their day-to-day activities.
We prepared a single session for them. The challenge was to make it useful specifically for Sales professionals, with specific use cases and practical recommendations.
What we did
Our Data & AI Training Specialist went to a beautiful house in La Cerdanya (Catalonia), where Carboline did their company retreat, to deliver the session on behalf of zenital but through Houser & Houser, an agency specialized in training for companies.
He covered the following aspects:
1. Understanding the differences between predictive AI and generative AI
2. The technology that has led us here (Transformers)
3. Foundation models: what they are and how we are using them
4. The importance of data in the use of AI
5. Understanding prompting and prompting techniques

What we achieved
Most of the 25 participants had no prior experience or contact with AI. This session was useful for them to understand the basics of this technology, overcome their fear of using it, and start thinking about how it could help them in their day-to-day work.
For two and a half hours, participants began to familiarize themselves with prompting, RAG, agents, and the best ways to adopt AI.
“The feedback from the team has been highly positive, both in terms of the content and the way the message was delivered. The trainer engaged effectively with the audience and made an excellent impression”, expressed one of the managers at Carboline about the session.

The one who gives you the push or the tools so that you climb and be yourself the one who reaches the summits you propose in a healthy, sustainable and energetic way.
